Background:
Economics, Bachelors, Spring 2024, Salisbury University
Before coming into Michigan Tech’s natural resource economics masters program I attended Salisbury University where I worked in a United Nations fellowship regarding the sustainable development goals. My contribution to the fellowship included regression modeling for offshore wind on Maryland’s Eastern Shore to price out the levelized cost of energy for projected wind farms.
Current Projects:
Renewable Energy Justice Through Service Transitions (ReJUST) – EPA-funded project led by Dr. Schelly evaluating air quality and home energy concerns in rural communities. The ReJUST team is proposing pathways for transition to improved public health, economic opportunity, and energy justice outcomes.
Achievements/Contributions:
Salisbury University Undergraduate Research Conference – Preliminary Analysis of AI Technology’s Influence on the Labor Force
United Nations Fellowship: Salisbury University’s Institute of Public Affairs and Civic Engagement
Omicron Delta Epsilon (Economics Honors Society)
Future Goals:
I would love to continue my education and obtain my PhD in economics. I hope to continue working on green energy transitions through offshore wind and nuclear energy.
